Therapy Services
Currently providing occupational therapy services in the home and in preschools. We work closely with caregivers and teachers to establish functional goals for young children. We accomplish these goals by developing treatment plans that are fun and playful. We believe in the power of play to motivate and engage children, while using toys that promote therapeutic growth. Play helps children to learn social skills, develop cognitive thinking, and motor skills; which in the long run helps them to become independent.
Consultations
Children with neuro-divergent diagnoses (ADHD, Autism, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, etc.) can experience difficulty with processing sensory information. This can appear as the child being difficult or challenging. Episodes such as angry outbursts, crying, tantrums, or not listening can occur.
Blooming Tree will partner with caregivers to help find a solution that works for everyone. We will educate you on why these behaviors may be occurring and teach you how to approach them. We will come to your home and help strategize how to make your child's environment safe and calm. We do this by observing your child in their home and interviewing the caregivers. After the official visit we will create the tools you will need to continue to help your child develop.
